We are delighted to announce that Standard Bank Wealth and Investment has won a total of 18 prestigious international awards in 2025, including being named Best Private Bank in Africa, Best Private Bank in South Africa and Best Private Bank for Client Education at the Global Finance Awards in January.

Our success continued at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards in March, where we were recognised as the Best Bank for High-Net-Worth clients in Africa and South Africa. We were also awarded as Best Bank for Family Office Services, and Best Bank for Digital Solutions in both regions.

In June, we won Best Private Bank - Africa and Best Private Bank - South Africa at the annual Le Fonti Awards®, as well as the awards for Best Wealth Management Firm in Africa and South Africa.

At the Private Banking International Global Wealth Awards in October, we were named Outstanding Private Bank – Africa and achieved first place for our Outstanding RM Development Strategy.

We rounded off the year by winning Best Private Bank for Family Offices – Africa at the PWM Awards, being Highly Commended in the category of Best Private Bank for Succession Planning – Africa and being named Best Private Bank for Education and Training of Private Bankers – Africa for the third consecutive year.
